How to Know If the Job Is a Scam or Not?

Make a Living from Home in 2017

The sad reality is that even though there are many legitimate work-from-home opportunities on the job market today, the scams will always exist.

I Want to Share Some Advice Of What to Look for In Order to Judge If the Job
Posting Is Legit, or Not

According to the National Consumers League and Fraud there are some signs to watch out for when you are search for a work-from-home job:

    • Do your research! This can not be stressed enough. Before committing to anything, you have to research the company. Check them out with the Better Business Bureau and perform some online searches to see if you can find reviews, and other information about the company. All companies have a website and at least some social media accounts nowadays, and are most likely also registered at differed online directories if they are legit.
    • Never pay for a job. If you have to pay to register or a fee to join a list, you should be alarmed. You should never have to pay for a job. The employer should pay you for work rendered instead. However, some work-from-home jobs may require you to purchase materials, or equipment to get started. If this is the case, make sure to ask about the return policy for your equipment and the money back guarantee if the job does not work out.

    • Ask for references of other people working for the company. A business that is hiring workers to work remotely probably has other people working for them as well.Ask how many remote workers they have and find out if you are able to connect and contact any of them.Be alarmed if the company is unwilling to provide references, or contact information. That is not a good sign.
